In order to be eligible for federal, state, or institutional aid, students must make satisfactory academic progress according to the University’s policy. This policy requires a student to have a cumulative GPA of at least 2.00 and to successfully complete a minimum of 67% (2/3) of classes in which the student has enrolled.
All students will be reviewed for compliance with the satisfactory academic progress policy at the end of each quarter. Students who have not met the requirements for satisfactory academic progress will be notified and placed on probation. Students who have not kept SAP after two quarters will be ineligible for aid.
Students who are placed on financial aid probation may be granted an extension of financial aid if extenuating circumstances occur such as medical problems, family emergencies, a death in the family, or special circumstances as determined by the institution.
