     There are Federal Tax benefits you can claim. You may use a Hope or Lifetime Credits. These credits will either add to your tax return or tax away from what you owe. Hope is currently $1675 per year while the Lifetime is currently up to $2000 per year. You may also use the tuition and fees tax deduction. Students with Federal Student Loans may also claim the interest accrued while in repayment up to $2500.00.
